Your Impact

When you support the CCO, you ensure that our mission is carried out in the following key areas:

Campus Fellowship

ESTABLISHING GOSPEL MOVEMENTS ON CAMPUS:
At the CCO, we’ve been inviting and equipping the church to reach college students since 1971. We’ve witnessed decades of lifelong transformationas people like you have invested in each new generation—as people like you have invested in hope. Reaching young people during this crucial time of personal and spiritual exploration and development helps raise up the next generation of Godly leaders.

Watch this powerful video to see how Sophie, a young woman who discovered that once she was ready to hear Jesus calling her home, it wasn’t too late–His arms were already open. Hers is just one of the many stories of life-long transformation made possible by the CCO.

Church Partnerships

INTEGRATING THE NEXT GENERATION INTO THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH:
We need to have hope that God has the next generation of leaders in store, and seeing ministry within the context of the local church will help us get there. While students often have access to different options for ministry groups, what can sometimes be missing is the local church. And that’s what sets the CCO apart. Since 1971, the CCO has been inviting and equipping local churches to build an intergenerational community of worship. As Cain, the student in this video shares, even though he has access to a variety of campus ministry options, without a church, something was missing.  “I need the influence of wiser folks around me. I need the family of God to help me. I need an intergenerational church.”

Watch this video to see Cain apply his faith by serving others in the construction of the new church, contributing to the wider community. He realizes that while he was building the church, he was building the Church.

Jubilee Conference

STUDENTS LEARN WHERE THEY FIT IN THE BIBLE’S BIGGER STORY:
The Jubilee conference is the culmination of what CCO ministry is all about. It is a gathering of thousands of college students learning how to worship God with their whole lives. Every year, students like Timothy attend the 3-day Jubilee Conference and engage the narrative of scripture—the goodness of God as Creator and His good creation, the impact of sin entering the world, the redemption through the blood of Jesus, the restoration of all things being made new—and gain a vision for how the Gospel transforms every area of their life. After receiving practical knowledge of what it means to be a Christian in architecture, his field of study, Timothy left with a  transformed vision for what it means to be a part of God’s Kingdom.

Watch this video to see how Jubilee helped Timothy discover what God gifted him to do with his life.

Ministry Apprenticeship program

LIFE-CHANGING MINISTRY:
We believe God is calling students already connected to our communities to consider vocational ministry. To prepare these emerging leaders to serve the church and the world for the rest of their lives, we offer the Ministry Apprenticeship Program (MAP). In this one-year or beyond program, we equip the next generation of leaders for faithful, effective ministry.

Watch this video to see how the CCO begins a conversation with college students to apply for the Ministry Apprenticeship Program. Recognizing the world is a big place and the work can seem daunting, we reassure students that Jesus is with them, and so are we.
